The mobile conflict laboratory
What if freedom means: seeing perspectives?
Based on the rich experience of an autobiographical conflict labo in 2018, LICHTERLOH opens a mobile conflict laboratory in 2020. Juliane von Crailsheim is invited by KAOS, KunstAtelier Opperstraat in Brussels. Together with 4 dancers and several guest she starts the mobile conflict laboratory in the ‘Psycho-Sociaal Centrum St-Alexius’ in Brussels. All happens @ KAOS Opperstraat 73, 1050 Elsene, Belgium
11/02/2020 at 19:30h Short films by Laura Vandewynckel & Juliane von Crailsheim. Our short films approach personal and superpersonal conflicts from various film genres: dance, experimental auto-fiction & stop-motion. Afterwards there will be a dialogue with the audience and a bar.
During 8 days Juliane explores together with the dancers Shosha von Kranendonck, Coral Ortega, Esse Vanderbruggen & Andrea Valfrè actual conflicts based on constellation works and techniques of contemporary dance. We will have several open sessions.
On 25.2.2020 at 19.30h we invite guest speakers Elke van Campenhout & Luea Ritter into our conflict laboratory for a debate.
The autobiographical conflict laboratory in 2018
In 2018, LICHTERLOH realized a conflict laboratory together with 18 artists from the disciplines dance, theatre, circus, performers & film. We had 5 labs and 50 days in total. In these laboratories we researched the same autobiographical conflict, based on constellation work in combination with divers artistic forms of expression that we developed. This autobiographical conflict laboratory formed the material of the interdisciplinary creation called ‘Ernst’, premiere 2019 (co-production and performances among others at Staatstheater Augsburg (DE), C-Takt, 30 CC Leuven, Pianofabriek Brussels).
